Be wary if you post on the cumberland forum

I provided a link proving Ponce had an agent and ut1 edited and said I was slandering TS's "good" name. It's not my fault they have to recruit because they have no talent in their shallow gene pool. If you post on the cumberland remember that it is run by a bunch of commies.

That's no reason to come and trash them over here man. That gives us a bad rap when it sounds like one of our own (when it's actually one of the BDD's own) is coming on our LPD forum saying something like that. Keep that in the BDD forum and not here.

It seems the fans from Haysi have had their "bloomers in a wad" since losing to Twin Springs in the tournament.

I can understand being upset, but I think Haysi also had many opportunities to win that game and blew them. I do believe Twin Springs was the better team, but I don't think that is all due to Kecev. In my opinion, Kecev is not the best player on their team. He would have to fall behind Dockery and Warner.

So many fans get upset over transfers and exchange students, which I really don't understand. I think filling up your roster with "holdbacks" is more unethical than using transfers and exchanges.

You should read on the BDD Sports Forum. One of them that complains about TS said "Being dirty is part of the game as long as you don't injure someone then I think it's fine." You would think he wouldn't complain about TS regardless of what they do as long as they don't "injury someone." I guess you call that a double standard (what's good for my team is not good for your team).

I have to disagree with you cvcgrad.. Kecev is 2nd behind Dockery on the TS roster.. He would not have came in and replaced Warner as point guard in his very first game had he not been better. I think it was 14 three pointers in a row that Kecev made during warm up at St. Paul one night. Warner will never be at that level.. There is no doubt that Kecev took that team from finishing 3rd in the district to winning the district and going past regionals.. no doubt whatsoever..

And recruiting exchange students and transfers is way more unethical than holdbacks.. I can't find anywhere in the rule book where holding back is illegal.

The Mods on the Cumberland form can run there board the way that they want to I know that there have been Mods here in the past that would shield criticism of there home school. I don't agree with that personally BUT I know myself as well as other Mods have caught flax for leaving some stuff up so to each his own.

Do I think TS is clean? Probably not but Haysi has had there share of questionable transfers (The hoops that Compton (From Ervinton) had to jump through to "Get Eligible" in 04 were crazy. Mullins (from Clintwood) Never actually moved to Haysi (or even out of Clintwood), Potter (From Pound) ended up at Haysi Magically as well. I am not trying to Down Haysi just pointing out that they are not exactly pure as the driven snow

Compton came to Haysi in '03 rather than '04 but I'm not aware of what hoops he may or may not have had to jump through. Can't imagine it was that tough since he has always lived in Dickenson County. Same deal for Dustin Mullins...its my understanding as long as you live in Dickenson County you can attend any of the 3 high schools of your choice...if you don't live in the school district then you will have to provide your own transportation however. Clintwood has had several athletes as well over the years that actually lived in the Haysi school district and some from the Ervinton district as well such as Shane Hillman, Lori Hillman and Selena Rose. Heck the town of Clinchco has often been considered in the Ervinton school district while it lies only 6 miles from Haysi High and a full 12 miles from Ervinton High...thats a federal lawsuit if you tried to make all of those kids go to Ervinton...school districts are sometimes drawn to try to keep certain schools open if you know what I mean. My understanding on Slade Potter was that he moved to Haysi because his father got a job down there...thats what I heard but I don't have alot of knowledge of the situation.
